'Format' of the
original and
translated documents
It is beyond doubt
that the easiest
'formats' of
documents are linked
to the most commonly
used word processor
programs (doc, rtf,
txt, etc.).
Other 'formats' like
PDF, Excel,
PowerPoint or HTML
are also accepted
but may be subject
to surcharges due to
the extra work
during the
translation.
-
Delivery
date/deadline
Urgent translation
projects may require
overtime, weekend
work or even
nightwork. This
results in a
surcharge when
making our
quotation.
As an illustration,
an urgent
translation project
may involve a very
short deadline in
relation to the size
of the document
and/or the extra
work due to the
'format'.
-
Text complexity
It goes without
saying that the
translation of very
technical texts
involve more work
than e.g.
informative texts.
As a result, extra
hours are necessary
due to additional
research in order to
deliver an
impeccable
translation.
- Do you provide
a discount in case of
large projects or translation
orders?
> Yes.
Depending on the
document's size (=number
of words), discounts are
provided. It is
self-evident that we can
make a more interesting
quotation ...
